A bursary in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a college or university student who is the child or grandchild of any member of an affiliate of Labour Council.
The award will be based on a 800 word essay on the theme “Explain how public services are crucial to the lives of Canadians”. A panel of 3 judges will make the final selection.
Applications are available at the Labour Council office or on the website ‐ http://www.labourcouncil.ca/
Deadline for applications is Friday, May 28, 2010.
